George Hendrick Fowler – Obituary

George Hendrick Fowler, 56, of 558 S. Fairvew St., Lock Haven, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at Williamsport Hospital.

Born in Blossburg on July 24, 1957, he was the son of George F. and Eleanor Jean Fowler.

George loved John Deere tractors, Harley motorcycles and trikes, and four-wheelers.

He also enjoyed music, the outdoors, and Christmas.

George valued the time that he spent with his brother, mom, and his best friend, his sister.

In addition to his mother, Eleanor of Lock Haven, he is survived by a brother, Richard L. Fowler of Lock Haven; two sisters, Jennifer L. Fowler and Dora L. Howard, both of Lock Haven; a special aunt, Pat Welch of Woolrich; a special cousin, Jimmy Welch of Woolrich; his caregiver, Amanda Newman of Flemington; two special friends, Susan Reynolds of Lock Haven and Teresa Weeks of MO; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.

George was preceded in death by his father, George.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, MO.
