Truck-Buggy Accident Injures Three

am-bugLOGANTON — Three members of a Loganton area family were injured when their horse-drawn buggy was struck from behind by a pickup truck late Thursday afternoon.
The injured were transported to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. State police said the buggy was operated by Annie Stoltzfus, 25. A spokesman at Geisinger said she was treated and released. Because of media unavailability of full names for her two daughters, ages 2 years and 11 months, Geisinger would not release any word on their conditions.

State police said the accident occurred at 4:46 p.m. Thursday on West Winter Road near the village of Bull Run. The investigating officer said a truck operated by Justin Weaver, 20, of Loganton was west-bound when it struck the rear of the buggy.
