New Warden Named by Commissioners

Official Hiring to be Approved July 30

LOCK HAVEN – The Clinton County Commissioners have announced that John Rowley of Oakland, Md has accepted the position of warden for the Clinton County Correctional Facility.

The commissioners will vote to approve the hiring of Rowley at their next regular meeting on July 30, 2015.

Once approved, Rowley will officially take up the position on August 17.

Rowley replaces Jackie Motter who was dismissed on a unanimous decision by the Clinton County Prison Board on June 4, 2015.

Once Rowley is in place, the search for a new deputy warden will begin to allow the new warden to offer input on that hire for his new assistant.
