LOCK HAVEN — All eligible kids and teens can choose a pair of free new boots at the Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank, inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St.

Saturday, Nov. 8th is “Just Boots Day”. This special day is for families who have been to the Shoe Bank in August, September or October and aren’t yet eligible to return for new shoes.

Saturday, Nov. 15th is for both boots and shoes. It’s ideal for new families and those who haven’t been in recently.

Kids and youth up to age 18, or still in high school, are eligible if they have Compass or a referral and live anywhere in Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin Elementary School area.

Appointments are required and are available on both dates from 11:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. For yours, text or call Diahann at 814-571-5324 any weeknight from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Be sure to let her know if you have to cancel, as she does keep a waiting list.

Funding is provided by the Clinton County Community Foundation, an M&T Bank Charitable Foundation grant, civic groups, churches, and individual donors.
