Summer Concert Series Opens in Renovo with Dynamic Set from 2AM Duo
By Kevin Rauch
With central Pennsylvania’s biggest bands and best-known groups on their schedule, the Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park, along with the Clinton County Community Foundation, kicked off their free summer concert series with a phenomenal evening of music from 2AM.
The husband-and-wife duo, Mitch and Autumn Gavlock, played a three-hour set highlighted by ’80s and ’90s rock, classic and modern country, and even some punk rock that found its way into their show. The audience could not have been more appreciative—smiling, tapping their feet, and even singing along throughout the evening.
Due to the weather, the concert was moved indoors to the Citizens Hose Company of South Renovo, with the fire company more than ready to provide either an indoor or outdoor venue for the concerts.
The summer concert series already has four other musical guests lined up, and organizers are working on possibly adding even more in the coming months.
