Shoe Bank Moves Up Date to April 12th Due to Easter

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank will be open by appointment Saturday, April 12th, inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. This is an early date, due to Easter.

Eligible kids and teens from wee ones through high school seniors can choose a pair of new shoes and new socks, as well as books to own. Everything is free! This is a good month to come, since the Shoe Bank will be closed in June and July.

The Shoe Bank serves families who have Compass and who live in Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin School area. Families who don’t have Compass may be referred by an agency, church, or organization.

To book your appointment, text or call Diahann at (1)-814-571-5324, any weeknight from 7:00-9:00 p.m. If you find you cannot keep your appointment, be sure to let her know.

Funding is provided by the Clinton County Community Foundation, the M&T Bank Charitable Foundation, civic groups, churches, and individual donors.
