Pine Creek Township, Clinton County, PA – Kevin Ferrara, a dedicated public servant and lifelong resident of Clinton County, announces his candidacy for Pine Creek Township Supervisor.

Raised in Avis, Kevin is a proud alumnus of Avis Elementary and Jersey Shore Area schools. After graduation, Kevin entered the U.S. Air Force in 1991. During his notable active duty service supporting global peace and wartime missions, Kevin was selected to maintain oversight of 16 U.S. and 200 global military locations, and design budgets saving taxpayers $100 million annually.

After retiring from the military, Kevin returned to Pine Creek Township, bringing with him a wealth of practical experience essential to community development.

“Service to others before self is an important core value for me”, Kevin states. “Taxpayers sacrifice much for their communities, it’s time local officials do the same and more. When elected as Supervisor, I will eagerly listen to and work tirelessly for the outstanding community members who consider Pine Creek Township their home, just as I do.”

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Service and Business Administration, a Master of Professional Studies in Community and Economic Development from Penn State, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Fire and Emergency Management Administration.

In 2019, Kevin founded AFSO21 LLC, advocating for health and safety and providing vital support to veterans, emergency responders, and communities exposed to toxic substances. Kevin’s expertise is sought by legislators, media, and communities worldwide which has earned him support from many to include consumer advocate and environmental activist Erin Brockovich. In addition, Kevin serves as a Community Action Advisory Board member at the Penn State Cancer Institute.

Kevin states, “As Supervisor, I intend to focus my 36-years of trustworthy leadership and financial insight to restore transparency and accountability in township governance, and toward featuring Pine Creek Township as a welcoming community for residents, business owners, and visitors alike.”
