By Christopher Miller
WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – Woodward Township Supervisors held their monthly meeting Tuesday evening.
While there wasn’t much to discuss on the agenda, the supervisors spoke about the following:
The Easter Egg Hunt is still being planned for Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at Riverview Park. Anybody interested in volunteering to fill eggs are asked to come to the Dunnstown Fire Company on April 9 at 6 p.m..
The bathroom project at the boat launch is in its final stages of completion, with floors, walls, new lights, and dividers being installed.
As for old business, the supervisors set Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. for their annual road tour of township roads. The road tour is a visual inspection of all township roads to address what might need to be worked on and corrected during the spring and summer months.
Township supervisors also announced a river lot lottery for Lot # 12.
“There could potentially be more coming up, but this tenant’s family decided to not take the lot again and we want to get the lottery started for it,” Supervisor Kyle Coleman said.
Between now and the next meeting on April 15 stop by the Woodward Township building at 86 Riverside Terrace to put your name in for the river lot lottery. The name will be drawn at the April meeting. Only one name will be allowed to be entered per household.
