Lady ‘Cats Bounce Back – Shutout Midd-West 15-0
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – After a rough weekend, the Lady Wildcats wasted no time trying to get things right. CM jumped right into the action, scoring 8 runs in the first inning. The Cats’ collected 8 hits, 8 walks and stole 9 bases, in addition to 4 Midd-West errors as they cruised to a 15-0 victory in 4 innings.
Leading the way for the offense was Junior, Loren Morasco, who was 3 for 3, with 2 runs scored, 2 doubles and 5 RBI Jess Strouse was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, a double, a walk and 3 RBI.
Madison Brown collected the win in the circle, going 4 innings, scattering only 3 singles. CM moves to 7-4 on the season.
The Lady Wildcats are to visit Shikellamy on Wednesday of this week, followed by a trip to Danville Thursday, back home Friday hosting Shamokin.
