Lady Bucks Fall to Austin in Galeton Tip-Off Tournament Championship

GALETON-The Bucktail Lady Bucks faced a tough challenge in the Galeton Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday night, falling to Austin by a score of 46-31 in the championship. Despite a strong effort, the Lady Bucks couldn’t keep pace with a balanced scoring effort from Galeton.

Galeton jumped out to an early 13-11 lead in the first quarter and maintained control throughout the game. Leading the way for Galeton was Clinger, who scored 14 points.

For Bucktail, Matti Mason delivered a standout performance, leading the team with 14 points. Kendall Wagner contributed 11 points, and Eva Sockman added 6. The Lady Bucks stayed competitive early but struggled offensively in the second half, managing just 11 points combined in the final two quarters.

With the loss, the Lady Bucks drop to 1-2 on the season. They will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they host Northern Potter.
