GALETON- Bucktail has traditionally found success playing in the Galeton Tip Off Tournament and on Friday night that success would continue against the host Galeton Lady Tigers.
Matti Mason would be an offensive nightmare for the struggling Lady Tigers. Mason netted 22 points, as Bucktail cruised to a championship date with Austin at 8:30 Saturday evening. Austin advanced to the finals by upending Williamson in the semifinals.
The Lady Bucks used a 17-3 and 9-0 advantages in the first two quarters of play to build a 26-3 lead at the break. Mason scored 15 of her career-high points in the first half to help lock up the Lady Bucks first victory of the season.
Bucktail (1-1) used a 17-3 second half to end the game and secure a championship spot against the Lady Panthers.

Wagner also found herself with another double-double night by scoring 10 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
