By Christopher Miller
WEST KEATING TOWNSHIP – A public hearing will be held about the Winner Solar, LLC project in West Keating Township at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26th at the Clinton County Government offices at 2 Piper Way in Lock Haven.
The Clinton County Zoning Hearing Board will meet with representatives of the project to discuss the Special Exception previously approved in January of 2021 to allow for a large-scale solar farm to be developed on 3,231.896 acres in both East and West Keating Townships.
The applicant is requesting a Special Exception to extend the time for the original Special Exception and further to allow for the addition of 64.28 acres in West Keating Township in order to provide the project’s point of interconnection with the electrical grid and to allow for the construction of a switchyard.
According to the legal notice, the property is located in the Rural Forest (RF) Zoning District.
The public is invited to attend.
