LHU Men’s Basketball opens 2024-25 season Friday
BOWIE, Md. – The Lock Haven men’s basketball team opened the 2024-25 season today (Friday, Nov. 8) at the Bowie State Tip-Off Classic and the Bald Eagles fell to Fayetteville State, 87-66.
Eli Washington returned to court for The Haven and finished with a team-high 17 points as he was one of three Bald Eagle to net double-digits.
Isiah Stewart scored 12 points and Kevin Coleman added 10 points and nine rebounds.
Washington dished out three assists and Stewart recorded four assists and four boards.
Gabe Springer added eight points.
Lock Haven stretched the lineup in the opener as the Bald Eagles scored 29 points off the bench.
Fayetteville State started strong and led 45-29 at halftime. The Broncos benefited from the play of Tairell Fletcher who scored a game-high 24 points.

The Bald Eagles will be right back at it Saturday (Nov. 9) when they take on tournament host Bowie State at 7 p.m.
