Guided Hands Project Eases Back-to-School Prep with Community Event in Renovo

Tyrone McClain’s The Guided Hands Project made preparing for the first day of school easier for students and their families this year. The program, which focuses on fostering a better community through acts of kindness towards those in need, as well as anyone interested, held a special event at the Renovo Fire Department. Organizers treated kids and their parents to a picnic lunch and snacks before inviting them to choose from hundreds of backpacks and school supplies.

McClain, who regularly holds similar events throughout the year, takes great joy in the high fives and words of appreciation from the youngsters. Many of them have come to know and appreciate his ongoing support.
