Inaugural Central PA Veteran Expo Set for Saturday in Beech Creek

BEECH CREEK – The American Legion Post 623 is proud to announce the inaugural Central PA Veteran Expo this Saturday, September 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the Post’s picnic grounds in Beech Creek and is designed to provide valuable services and support to veterans throughout Pennsylvania.

The expo aims to be a one-stop resource for veterans, offering a range of services including claims assistance, healthcare enrollment, homelessness support, military records, education, employment opportunities, and more. Experts and advocates from various organizations will be available to guide veterans through the process and answer questions.

Food and drinks will be provided throughout the event, making it a family-friendly outing for all. The organizers hope to make this an annual gathering, held on the second Saturday of September every year, so you are encouraged to mark your calendars for future events.

The expo is open to all veterans, family members, caregivers, and service providers in Pennsylvania. In addition to Federal, State, and County VA offices, the event will also feature representatives from veteran wellness programs, outdoor initiatives, and other community service providers. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with these representatives and enroll in available services on-site.
