Sugar Valley Golf Places Third in Mid Penn Athletic Conference Match
MONTGOMERY-The Sugar Valley Rural Charter School golf team competed in the Mid Penn Athletic Conference Golf Match on Tuesday at White Deer Golf Course. The Phoenix faced off against teams from Benton, Montgomery, and Sullivan County. Sugar Valley battled hard, securing third place with a team score of 252. Montgomery took the top spot with a score of 204, followed by Benton with 213. Sullivan County finished fourth with a score of 267.
Leading the way for the Phoenix was Bryer Martin, who shot a 51. The tournament medalist was Liam Adams from Montgomery, who carded a 43.
Sugar Valley will return to action next Monday, hosting a home match against Shamokin.
