LHU’s Smith breaks program record, Golf shines at ESU Invitational

STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven golf team competed in the East Stroudsburg Invitational on Saturday (April 19) in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania at the Glen Brook Golf Club on Saturday afternoon. Skylar Smith broke the program-record for lowest individual round by shooting an 84.

As a team, the Bald Eagles finished with a season-best score of 376 after a fantastic round by the group, which featured personal bests and the program-record by Smith.

Smith previously held the record in 2021-22, before having it broken in 2023-24. After her score of 84 (+12) on Saturday, she stands on top of The Haven leader board once again.

Kendall Fedder continues to build on a strong season and shot a personal-best round on Saturday with a 91 (+19).

Macy Trostle rounded out the top-three scores for The Haven with a 99.

The Bald Eagles are set to compete in the PSAC Championship on Thursday-Sunday, April 24-27 hosted by Kutztown University at the Berkleigh Golf Club.
