11 LHU Softball players named NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A total of 11 Lock Haven softball players have been named to the 2023-24 Easton / National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II All-American Scholar-Athlete team.

To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must have achieved a 3.5, or higher, grade-point-average during the 2023-24 academic year.

Lock Haven’s honorees included: Sydney Arrigale (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional), Riley McClellan (Granville Summit, Pa./Troy), Molly Whitmyer (Ehola, Pa./Trinity), Kinley Gioglio (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg), Jada Schellhammer (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua), Ally Raub (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg), Riley Best (Coalport, Pa./Glendale), Morgan Karasek (Bangor, Pa./Bangor), Maci Brodzina (Warriors Mark, Pa./Tyrone), Keiva Middleton (Willow Street, Pa./Lampeter-Stroudsburg) and Haley Lestician (Lawrenceville, Pa./Lawrence).

For the Bald Eagles, the academic award list grows. Lock Haven placed five players on the 2023-24 CSC Academic All-District team and the softball program was well represented on the 2023-24 PSAC Scholar-Athlete list.
