Obituary – Lynn Ann Thorson
Lynn Ann Thorson 68, of Mill Hall passed away on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at ManorCare Williamsport North.
Lynn was born in Lock Haven to A. Richard and Emma Lou Lynn Thorson on June 10th 1955. She attended Mill Hall Elementary School and was a 1973 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. In 1977 she graduated from Susquehanna University with BA in mathematics and was a member of Kappa Mu Epsilon, national mathematics honor society.
She worked as a lifeguard and swim teacher at the Mill Hall Swimming Pool also working at Lock Haven Savings & Loan, Woolrich Inc., Central Counties / Mellon Bank and Mill Hall Clay Products, Inc.
For 18 years while working full time Lynn also volunteered as a nationally registered EMT & fire fighter at Goodwill Hose Co.
She was a former member of Clinton County Community chorus and community orchestra. Lynn volunteered at Millbrook playhouse mostly in the orchestra for musicals but did some walk-ons. She loved playing flute and singing with her mother. Her cats were her babies which she loved beyond belief.
Services are under the direction of Gedon Funeral Homes and will be private, burial will take place in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
