Lock Haven Fringe Fest Accepting Artist & Venue Applications

LOCK HAVEN-The city is set to come alive with unique culture and creativity with the 2nd Annual Fringe Fest scheduled for Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th. The event will continue to bring together a line-up of musicians and artists at venues downtown. Brady Carnahan, board member and creative consultant at ABSOLUTELY! Theatre and Fundraising, noted, “we want Lock Haven residents to have the opportunity to experience unique musicians and artists at various venues in town. Fringe Festivals are all about pushing the envelope just a little. We want artists of all types whether visual, performing, musical or even a new genre to apply to us. We also want local businesses, restaurants and other venues who are willing to host these artists to apply, too.” The deadline for applications is Sunday, March 31st at lockhavenfringe.com.

Other ABSOLUTELY! Theatre and Fundraising board members and Fringe Fest planners include John Gradel, Rick Schulze, Craig Roberts and Michael Schloegel. Roberts and Schloegel have extensive backgrounds in musical theatre while Gradel and Schulze have focused efforts in community collaboration, fundraising and civic engagement.
