Helping Hands in Action

Leadership Clinton County has taken on a new initiative in 2024…Helping Hands in Action. As a class, participants spent the day volunteering at various locations throughout the County. They assembled care packages to women and men in active breast cancer treatment through Boxes of Hope. They assisted with the cleaning and sanitizing of the Main Stage at Millbrook Playhouse. They painted parts of the Annie Halenbake Ross Library after their extensive roof damage. They helped spruce up Main Street Lock Haven by cleaning up litter. And finally, they volunteered at the New Love Center to clean and restock their pantry. Leadership Clinton County believes if you want to do good there are opportunities everywhere…especially in your own backyard.

Leadership Clinton County understands the importance of skilled volunteers and leaders in a community and is dedicated to strengthen Clinton County and make our community a better place to live and work. The program contains diverse activities, including professional presenters, panel discussions, tours, and hands-on activities…such as Helping Hands in Action. Organized by the Clinton County Economic Partnership, the Leadership program is now in its 24th year, with over 300 graduates. People interested in making a difference in their own community and developing their personal leadership potential are encouraged to apply to Leadership Clinton County.
