Obituary – Jane Rebecca Myers
Jane Rebecca Myers died Tuesday, November 28 at her home in Mackeyville after an extended period of disability.
Jane was born in the old Lock Haven Hospital, November 3, 1953. Her Mother and Father were Anna Brown Cruse and Frank Cruse Jr. Jane graduated from LHU and taught at Saint Joseph, Bastress, St. Boniface Schools in Williamsport for 30 years, teaching her 1st graders and passing along her passion for reading. Janie loved the outdoors and Jeeping on the gravel roads of Pennsylvania, excelling at cooking and planning many memorable gatherings.
Jane is survived by husband Storres, married January 6,2003, sisters Liz and Mary Walker, brother Frank, niece Angie Walker (Sarhada) and nephew Tony Caruso (Jenna), Olive, Max, Rocco, Frank, and many friends and relatives.
Visitation will be Monday, December 4 from 11-12 at the Gedon Funeral Homes, (the former Dean K. Wetzler Jr Funeral Home) 320 Main St. in Mill Hall, immediately followed by a luncheon at Haywoods Restaurant. There will be a private interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
