ALLENTOWN, PA – The Bulldogs of Jersey Shore traveled 2+ hours into District 11 to take on an out of conference opponent in the Raptors of Executive Education Academy Charter School in this Week #6 match-up. ‘Shore came home with a tidy 48-14 win to remain undefeated on the season.

Last year Jersey Shore played the tough host in the first ever meeting between the schools defeating EEACS 65-12 leading 65-0 at the half with Brady Jordan throwing for two early TD to break the game open.

For the second week in a row, the weather was a factor with light rain falling as the game began Friday night and the Bulldog offense struggled early with two punts on their first two possessions.

Evan Snyder for his 3rd interception in two games at the 6:54 mark of the 1st qtr. and the Jersey Shore offense responded with a 2-play drive and Tafte Sechrist’s 25 yard run capped off the drive.  The PAT was missed and Shore led 6-0.

After a change of possessions, Jersey Shore used a fake punt and run by Brodie Herr on a 4th and 11 leading to a Jerrin Loomis `1 yard rush for the score.  Herr’s PAT made the score 13-0 Bulldogs.

Scoring for the Bulldogs continued after the defense forced a turnover on downs.  Tate Sechrist added his second score of the night on a 2 yard run at the 3:16 mark of the 2nd quarter. Herr’s PAT was good to move the score to 20-0.

With good clock management, the Bulldogs got the ball back again before half and Loomis found Elijah Jordan on a scramble pass play for 26 ards (Herr PAT) to extend the ‘Shore lead to 27-0 at the break.

Jersey Shore added three scores in the second half following an EEACS 65 yard scoring pass play.  A Loomis to Tyson 30 yard pass play, Loomis’ 2nd 1 yard rush and Bo Sechrist added a 3 yard run to build the lead to 48-6.

The Raptors added a last rushing TD and 2-point conversion to make the final score 48-14.

Loomis had his best day as Shore’s starting QB going 13-19 for 216 yds and 2 TDs.

Jersey Shore improves to 5-0-1 and EEACS falls to 2-4.  The road trip continues next week with a tough game against the 3-3 Shamokin Indians, who defeated Shikellamy 41-20.
