Central Mountain’s Hendricks medals at PIAA track meet

SHIPPENSBURG, PA – Central Mountain track and field standout Lily Hendricks earned a fifth-place medal at last weekend’s PIAA AAA championships at Shippensburg University. The Lady Wildcat junior covered 38-01 in the triple jump to achieve all-state status.

Hendricks also competed in the long jump where she finished 10th with a jump of 17-5. Earlier in May she had won gold medals in both events at the District 6 championships.

Two other CM squad members also competed at states. Abbey Wolfe finished 28th in the 3200 meters with a time of 11:43.13 and Garrison Lucas was 19th in the 100 meters with a time of 10.88 in the prelims.
