City of Lock Haven’s 2022 Summer Concert schedule announced

LOCK HAVEN, PA – After careful planning by the Summer Concert Series Committee, the City of Lock Haven on Tuesday announced the 2022 Summer Concert Series. The schedule, which includes five performances on Main Street, nine performances at Triangle Park, and six performances at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater and Floating Stage offers a variety of music including blues, rock, jazz, country, and bluegrass.
Kasey Campbell, Lock Haven’s Director of Community Life, announced the selections at a small gathering at The Main Street Grill: This year, we will once again be holding our Friday night concerts at Triangle Park and the Grove & Main Street Stage. Working with Downtown Lock Haven, Inc.’s Pedestrian Mall schedule, concerts held on the last Friday of the month will be at the Grove and Main Street Stage. Friday night concerts begin on June 3, at Triangle Park, with Flashback. Other performances at Triangle Park include Robert Richardson on June 10, the Bellefonte Community Band on June 17, the Dick Adams Trio on July 1, Heather Olson & the Silver Eagle Band on July 8, the John Stevens Polka Band on July 15, the Lockport Drifters on July 22, Biscuit Jam on August 5, and the Heartstrings on August 19; Friday night concerts at the Main & Grove Street Stage include the Lindy Sisters on June 24, Cass & the Bailout Crew on July 29, Ted McCloskey and the Hi-fi’s on August 12, and ending the Friday night concerts will be the Clark McLane Band on August 26. All concerts will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., and those interested in attending the free concert are invited to bring their own chair or enjoy the band while dining at one of downtown’s unique restaurants during the pedestrian mall!
M80 will kick off the summer concerts on the river at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater and Floating Stage on Saturday, June 4. The schedule includes Aaron Kelly on June 18, the Billy Price Band on July 2, the Chicago Authority on July 16, Bad Animals on August 6, and finishing the series on the river is DuMM on August 20.
Once again, the Summer Concert Series has partnered with the Clinton County Arts Council, and the LH Jams Festival, with a concert on Main Street on Saturday, August 13. Performing that evening will be the Earth, Wind, and Fire Tribute, Coast 2 Coast. Saturday evening concerts will take place from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
This year’s schedule will be published on the City’s website at www.lockhavenpa.gov, as well as on the city’s new Civil Space page at https://lockhavenpa.civilspace.io/en/projects/2022-summer-concert-series . Schedules will be available at the first concert in on Friday, June 4 in Triangle Park and every concert as supplies last.
