County court proposes same magisterial districts for the next decade
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Clinton County Court is proposing the county’s three magisterial districts remain unchanged over the next decade.
According to a Wednesday release from court administrator Don M. Powers, state law says that after every federal census, the local court is required to “evaluate and reestablish or realign, if needed, the boundaries and caseloads” within the judicial district.
Based on that evaluation, the county release said the local court proposes to keep the three-district set-up unchanged. Those offices are presently in Lock Haven, Mill Hall and Renovo.
There is a 30-day public comment period and the plan can be seen on the Clinton County Judiciary/Court Administration website and is also available at the courthouse in Lock Haven or at any of the three district offices.
Comments will be accepted through Feb. 26 and can be submitted to this courthouse address:
