Runners Gear Up for Clinton County’s 13th Annual Frozen Snot Trail Race This Saturday
Final preparations are underway for Clinton County’s first trail race of the new year, the 13th annual Frozen Snot, to be held this Saturday, February 1, in McElhattan.
Food crew volunteers were busy this week making soups and sandwiches for the more than 300 runners expected to brave Bald Eagle Mountain during the toughest time of the year, weatherwise.
In addition to the traditional 8.5-mile and 13.5-mile course options, organizers have added a 25K course this year for those interested in longer distances. The race begins at 7:30 Saturday morning, with the Start/Finish at the Restless Oaks Restaurant outdoor pavilion.
The Frozen Snot is organized by Race Director Luke Ebeling and the Central Region Trail F(r)iends.
