CM boy swimmers sweep Tuesday tri-meet
LOCK HAVEN, PA – A total team effort by the Central Mountain Boys Swim Team proved to be too much for Milton and Penns Valley, Coach Scott Bair’s team now 3-0 after its showing on Senior Night Tuesday at the Zimmerli Pool.
Owen Wunder scored big team points for the Wildcats. He finished 1st in the 200 IM and the 100 Backstroke. Teammates Jonathan Hughes and Leisher Gugino continue to be impressive. Jonathan won the 100 Freestyle and the 100 Breastroke while Leisher won the 200 Freestyle and 100 Fly. The 200 Medley Relay of Owen Wunder, Jonathan Hughes, Leisher Gugino, and Jackson Walker and the 200 Freestyle Relay of Jonathan Hughes, Jackson Walker, Gabe Coakley, and Leisher Gugino were both victorious as well.
The CM Boys won 67-39 over Penns Valley and 64-47 over Milton. They are now 3-0 on the year.
