Letter to the Editor 10/21
Election Day is November 2nd
Editor:
Election day, this year is not that far away. If you are not registered to vote, October 18th is the last day that you can register to vote in this fall’s election. To register to vote you can register online or go to the county offices at 1 Piper Way in Lock Haven. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is October 26th. Please remember to bring your ID to the polls with you.
I know that you are all very busy, but please make the time to come in and vote. This year has been exceptional hard to learn about our candidates, so I am going to try to tell you some about our Republican candidates. We have Kevin Brobson, running for Justice of the Supreme Court. Kevin is currently President Judge of the
Commonwealth Court of PA. Kevin is Highly recommended by the PA bar association, and has 14 years in private practice. Some of you may have met Kevin at the Clinton County Fair. For more information on Kevin please look him up at BrobsonForPA.com.
Next on the ballot would be Megan Sullivan. Megan is running for Judge of Super Court. Megan Sulivan is a veteran litigator with twenty years of legal experience as both a criminal prosecutor and civil attorney General, a litigation attorney in private practice, and general counsel for a state university.
Next on the ballot will be Stacy Marie Wallace and Drew Crompton. They are running for Judge of the Commonwealth Court. Stacy Wallace has come to Clinton County twice that I know of to introduce herself. Stacy has 20 years of experience working in public and private sectors. For more information about Stacy you can go to stacyforpa.com.
Michelle Kunes is running for County Treasurer. Michelle is presently the County Treasurer, and doing a great job.
If you live in Porter Twp, we have Trent Rickert running for Twp Supervisor. Trent is a good, hard working, young man. I’m pleased to see someone of his age caring about the community. Thank you Trent, and good luck.
On the back of your ballot is some retention questions. We are hoping for yes to all four John T Bender, Anne Covey, Mary Jane Bowes, and Renee Cohn Jubelirer.
Please do you part, get out and vote on November 2nd.
