CM volleyball claims Senior Night win
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – It was an action-packed, back-and-forth contest for the Central Mountain volleyball team Wednesday night and the host Lady Wildcats made Senior Night/Whiteout Night a memorable one with a hard-earned 3-1 win over Bellefonte.
Coach Jamie Rauch’s team took the first two sets, 25-10 and 28-26 and Bellefonte came back to claim a hotly contested third set, 25-23. But Central Mountain took set four by a 25-20 score to move to 5-1 on the season.
Seniors honored were Ashley Rich, Emily Bartlett, Reese Doyle and Kylie Garman. A large student section was on hand to cheer on the Lady ‘Cats.
Central Mountain will be right back in action Thursday, visiting St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy of Boalsburg.
