Clinton Major softball cruises to sectional finals, 13-3
WYALUSING, PA – The District 12 Champion 10-12 Clinton softball team scored early and often to ten-run Tunkhannock, 13-3 in five innings on Tuesday evening.
The offense-minded girls scored two in the bottom of the first; six in the second; four in the fourth; and clinched it in the fifth scoring the game-ending run.
Camdyn Weaver was once again masterful on the mound, striking out nine while issuing two walks and one hit-batsman and allowing just four hits to gain the win. Weaver surrendered just three runs (two were earned). She had also won the District 12 Championship game this past Sunday.

Cheyenne Weaver, Elise McKean, Mya Krout, and Ava Miller each added a single. McKean’s cleared the bases.
Clinton will take on District 13 champion Mifflinburg who shutout District 24 titlist Minersville, 15-0 in four innings.
The game is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. back at the Wyalusing Boro Park.
