Another split for CM track
MILL HALL, PA – The Central Mountain girls’ track team continued its recent run of success with an 83-67 victory over visiting Mifflinburg on Tuesday. The CM boys’ squad did not fare as well, falling to the visiting Wildcat boys by 106-44. It was Senior Day for the track program. (See below for senior/family pictures).
The Lady Wildcats had two double-winners to pace their victory: Lily Hendricks in the high jump and long jump and Mallory Eck in the shot put and javelin. Also garnering first place finishes were Ashley Rich in the 100 hurdles; the 4×800 and 4×100 relay teams; Mckenna Fox in the discus; Kiahna Jones in the trip jump; Jocelyn Renninger in the pole vault; and Rachel Hall in the 100 meters.
The boys had a double winner in Brett Gerlach in the high jump and triple jump and had single winners in Caleb Porter in the 1600 and Dominick Kennedy in the 200.
The Wildcat track squads are scheduled to travel to Bald Eagle Area on Thursday.
