Maurice James Manili – Obituary
Maurice James Manili, 76, of Plainsboro, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, November 9, 2020.
Born in Renovo, PA Maurice graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1961 and enlisted in the United States Air Force that same year. Upon discharge from the Air Force, he attended and graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in accounting. He was employed by General Electric, United States Surgical Corporation, and The MedTech Group, from where he retired as Chief Financial Officer. In his spare time, Maurice loved to hunt and fish.
Predeceased by his parents, Pietro (Pete) and Thelma Manili; he is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Helen (Jukna) Manili; his children, Paul Manili and Gregg Manili; and his grandchildren Joseph Manili and Julia Manili. He is also survived by his sister Sylvia and brother-in-law, David Luber and their three sons, Michael, Peter, and Daniel and their families. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Susan Jukna, nephew Eric Jukna and his family; cousin Ronald Manila and his wife Margaret and their children, Ron, Steve, Tanya, and Michael, cousin Joseph Dimarco and several other cousins and many friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 16, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, 16 Dey Road, Plainsboro, NJ 08536.
Cremation will take place privately.
Due to funeral restrictions, the staff at the A.S. Cole Son & Co., respectfully requests that all funeral attendees please wear a face covering of some kind during the services for Maurice. We appreciate your cooperation and thank you.
