Jason P. Proctor – Obituary

Jason P. Proctor, 79, of Beech Creek, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was born on November 11, 1940 in Hammersly Fork, PA. a son of the late Hamilton V. and Twila Proctor.

Jason was united in marriage to the love of his life, the former Delores A. Detrow in Beaver Creek, MD., she survives at their home.

He was employed with Paul Lehman Construction, William Confer Trucking, and was also a self employed trucker. He was a member of Operator Engineers Union Local 66 as a operator for 50 plus years. He was a member of the Beech Creek Legion. His love was his family, work, auto racing and his racing family. He was particularly fond of time he spent with his good friends he enjoyed hanging out almost on a daily basis at Bittner’s Taxidermy as well as many of the local garages in the area.

Along with his wife he is survived by two daughters, Tonya ( Dom ) Orwick, and Jeri Ann ( Chad ) Carver , two sons, Jason M. and Randy Proctor, eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four step-great grandchildren.He is also survived by a sister, Aline Gavlock, two brothers, Todd Proctor and Neal Proctor.
