William L. Nestlerode – Obituary

William L. Nestlerode, 72, of Lock Haven passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 surrounded by family at his home.

William was born on November 10, 1947 in Lock Haven to Paul Nestlerode and Betty (Harris) Nestlerode.

He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1966 and from Williamsport Area Community College in 1968.

William married the former Margaret Louise Smith on May 10, 1969, and they celebrated 51 wonderful years together.

Over the years, he worked for Phillips Supply House and IKON Office Solutions, retiring in 2010.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp with his buddies.  William also cherished his family, whether it be going for ATV rides with his wife or spending time with his grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Margaret Nestlerode, he is survived by his daughter, Christine (Nestlerode) Davis and her husband, Keith Davis, of Chester Springs; his grandchildren, Emma Davis (13) and Carter Davis (6); and his cousin, Louise Johnson of Beech Creek.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Nestlerode.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745.  Per CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19, masks and social distancing will be required.

A memorial service celebrating the life of William will be held at a later date.  Private interment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
