Lady Wildcat Soccer Falls to Shamokin, 2-0

COAL TOWNSHIP – It was a tough road trip for the Lady Wildcat soccer team as they came home with a 2-0 loss to Shamokin.

The Lady Indians scored twice in the first period, then held onto that lead for the win.

Central Mountain also trailed in shots on goal, 14-3 and corner kicks, 5-3.

Ava Renninger had 2 shots on goal and Mia Kopysciansky had 1. Maddison Briggs collected 6 saves on the night.

The loss takes Central Mountain to 1-6 on the season, 0-5 in conference play. The Lady Wildcats will next host Warrior Run, Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 with the varsity game set for 7 p.m. there will be no JV game.
