SVRCS student crowned Pennsylvania Little Miss Agriculture USA
LOGANTON, PA-Rylee Jo Shady of Loganton, represented Clinton County, PA at the Pennsylvania Miss
Agriculture USA pageant on March 14, 2020 where she was crowned the Pennsylvania Little
Miss Agriculture USA. Rylee is the six year old daughter of Justine Shady and Greg Stahl of
Loganton and Seth Shady, also of Loganton. She will be competing at the National Miss
Agriculture USA pageant later this year and will have the opportunity to compete in public
speaking, interview, Ag Wear and formal wear categories, among others.
Rylee is in first grade at Sugar Valley Rural Charter School and proudly shares her love of
agriculture with her classmates as well as other teachers and students at SVRCS.
Rylee’s agricultural interests include market goats, sheep, beef cows, chickens, pigs and riding
horses. When she is not with her animals, she plays AYSO soccer, softball and wrestles. She
also enjoys playing piano, spending time with her family, fishing, exploring the woods and many
other activities.
Rylee loves ice cream, pizza, chocolate, strawberries and cheeseburgers and can proudly tell
you where each food product comes from. Your Pennsylvania Little Miss Agriculture USA would
like to remind everyone that without agriculture and the farmers who plant and harvest the
crops, we wouldn’t have food!
Over the next year, Rylee will be visiting local fairs, festivals, farms, events and businesses
across Pennsylvania to learn more about the agricultural industry that she loves. She is excited
to share her love of agriculture with the local community.
