Wildcat Golf Tops the Field Once More at SVCC
HUMMELS WHARF – The Central Mountain golf team continued their winning ways today with another sweep of their PHAC foes while on the road at Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
The Wildcats pulled off the sweep by edging Montoursville by a single stroke, 178 to 179 in their round of nine holes. Shikellamy followed up with a round of 200, Selinsgrove with 201 and Williamsport turned in a round of 220.
Brady Williams led the ‘Cats with 38, Jason Floruss followed up with 44 and Chase Confer with 46. Next it was Gunner Redmond with 50, Zach Somers with 52 and Peyton Newlen with 53.
Picking up four more wins today takes Central Mountain to 9-1-1 overall in 2019, 8-0 in PHAC play.
Next up for the Wildcats is a road trip to White Deer Golf Course where they will meet Montgomery Area, Benton Area and Sugar Valley Rural Charter on Thursday, August 29, 2019.
