New Executive Director at Lock Haven YMCA

LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven YMCA has announced Kody Graham as the new Branch Executive Director. He will be responsible for managing the operations of the Lock Haven Area YMCA, community relations, collaborations, long-range planning along with board and committee development.

The Lock Haven YMCA continues to work in a management agreement with the River Valley Regional YMCA. The YMCA said in a release that the goal of this partnership is the strengthening of the communities of both Y’s while enhancing the services in youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

The new executive director graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Exercise Science. Most recently, he was the Senior Wellness Director of the North YMCA and the Jerry L. Garver YMCA in Columbus, Ohio, where he significantly expanded the development efforts and had a decisive impact on all program areas. Through his prior Y experience, he has shown that he thrives on challenges and looks forward to making an impact in the Lock Haven community.

Graham has a wife, two boys and a new puppy. The family stays active together by hiking the many trails that exist in North Central Pennsylvania and by playing soccer and baseball together. He enjoys road running, trail running and strength training at the Y. His family has grown up in the Y and has enjoyed many of the programs that the Y offers.
