City Police Post Possible Attempted Child Luring Message

LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven Police Department today said they have received reports of an older male individual trying to get children into his vehicle. The City Hall announcement: The vehicle is described as an orange or burnt orange in color “box shaped car.” The male driver is described as an older “heavy set” male with a “scratchy” voice, gray hair, glasses and a beard. The male is attempting to get young children into his car by saying he has puppies.

Police said the vehicle has been seen in the area of Williamson Heights as well as Hoberman Park. If anyone comes into contact with this car, please call 911.
