Genealogical Society to Feature Talk on Revolutionary War Heroine Sybil Ludington
LOCK HAVEN –Guest speaker Beatrice “Bebe” Fultz will talk about the life and accomplishments of her famous sixth great aunt Sybil Ludington at the September 9, 2025 meeting of the Clinton County Genealogical Society at 7:00 PM in the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water Street in Lock Haven.
Fultz’s ancestor is known in history as the female Paul Revere for her heroic effort and forty mile ride in April 1777 to alert American Continental Army troops that the British were marching to destroy American weapons and ammunition stockpiled in Danbury, Connecticut.
The program is open to the public and free of charge.
