Obituary -Gregory A. “Cooch” Coleman

Gregory A. “Cooch” Coleman, 75, of Woolrich, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

Born April 13, 1950 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Ben Coleman and Luella Funk Coleman, who survives.

Cooch was a 1969 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

On August 22, 1969 in Lock Haven, he married the former Diana L. Barrett, who survives in Woolrich.

He retired from Woolrich Woolen Mills after a devoted 47 years of service.

Cooch had a passion for the outdoors and spent the vast majority of his free time either hunting, fishing or trapping. He was also an avid fan of Alabama Football and was honored to travel to Tuscaloosa for a game in recent years.

In addition to his wife and mother, Cooch is survived by three sons, Greg, Jr. of Woolrich, Preston “Scott” Coleman of Woolrich and Brandon Coleman; four brothers; three sisters; six granddaughters; and two great granddaughters.

Per Cooch’s wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or Citizens Hose #5 of Lock Haven, all in c/o Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
