Lady Wildcats Roll Past Danville, 13-3

DANVILLE – The Central Mountain softball team put together a dominant performance on the road Monday, defeating Danville 13-3 in six innings.

The Lady Wildcats posted scoring innings in five of six frames, collecting 18 hits while committing just one error. Danville managed six hits and two errors in the loss.

Aubrey Eiler led the offensive charge with four hits, including two doubles and a home run. Cirstyn Watson added two hits, one of them a homer. Camdyn Weaver recorded a double and a triple among her two hits, while Joslyn Shultz also chipped in with a pair.

Katelyn Bowman, Cora Myers, Aubrey Miller, Mallory Wunder, Ava Doyle, and Taylor Doyle each added a hit, with Ava and Taylor Doyle contributing two apiece.

Shultz pitched all six innings in the circle for Central Mountain, striking out eight and allowing six hits.

The Lady Wildcats will be back in action Tuesday when they travel to Selinsgrove.
