LHU Men’s Basketball drops road contest at IUP
INDIANA – In a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East/West crossover contest, the Lock Haven men’s basketball team fell, 80-70, to IUP.
The Bald Eagles saw three players score double digits in Isaiah Stewart (14), LaQuan Byrd (14), and Eli Washington (13).
Washington pulled in six rebounds and dished out eight assists and Byrd recorded four rebounds.
Mike Knouse recorded five boards. Kevin Coleman added eight points.
The Haven built a 34-32 lead after the first period of play. However, IUP outscored the Bald Eagles in the second half (48-36).
The battle from behind the arch proved to be the difference, as IUP finished with seven in the second half to Lock Haven’s three.
Lock Haven moves to 2-5 (0-2 PSAC) while IUP moves to 3-2 (1-0 PSAC).
