Obituary – Joyce A. Terry Bower
Joyce A. Terry Bower, 84, of Lamar, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living.
Born May 13, 1940 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late John Terry and Alice Brown Fischer.
Joyce was a member of Mt. Bethel United Church of Christ, Lamar.
She loved the Clinton County Fair where she and her companion, Nevin Courter, enjoyed serving food from their food truck. Joyce also liked attending auctions.
She cherished her family, especially the time she spent with her daughter, Debora.
Surviving are her children, William C. (Donna) Bower of Aaronsburg and Debora A. Bower of Lamar; a brother, Randy Fischer of Florida; two grandchildren, Jodi Woleslagle and Jennifer Phoenix; four great grandchildren: Alayna, Nathan, Nina and Thaddeus; and a great, great grandson, Asher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald L. “Bingo” Bower; an infant son, Mark Bower; brothers, Jay Terry and Ronald Fischer; sister, Sharon Phillips; grandson, Ronnie Hanley; and her companion, Nevin Courter.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Lamar.
