Jersey Shore Man Arrested After Chase with Area Police

LOCK HAVEN – A Jersey Shore man is jailed and charged with two counts of aggravated assault after he allegedly hit two police cruisers as part of a Friday afternoon chase from Main Street in Lock Haven into Lycoming County.

State police identified the accused as Ian Michael Lehman, 32, of Jersey Shore. Their report said Lehman fled from Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police after a traffic stop. As he attempted to elude police, they said, he struck patrol cars from Tiadahgton Valley and state police. He was arrested, the report said, after he stopped his vehicle in Porter Township, Lycoming County.

Filed charges include two counts of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while suspended, careless driving and reckless driving. Lehman was remanded to the Clinton County Correction Facility.
