Bricks falling
LOCK HAVEN — The city has temporarily closed a portion of the alley abutting Uncle Albert’s and the First Church of Christ just off Vesper St in the downtown.

City officials took the action Thursday after bricks fell onto the alley from the top floor along the roof line of the building housing Uncle Albert’s tavern and restaurant. According to city code and zoning officer Cyndi Walker, the building’s safety does not appear compromised. Owner Howard Karichner told the city the matter would be immediately addressed. No injuries were reported.
