KCSD Grapples with Phone/Internet Issues

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP — The phone system and internet system are down within the Keystone Central School District.

The district this morning posted this announcement on Facebook:

“Parents and community:
Please be patient as the district works on our telephone and Internet issues this morning.
All buildings are affected.

Calls can go out but at this point buildings cannot receive calls. 
Technicians are on site and working to resolve the problem as quickly as they are able.
Your understanding and patience is vital.”

District spokesperson Angela Harding said the problem appears somewhere within the district’s computer network and technicians are on site dealing with the problem. She said otherwise the school day is proceeding as per normal. She said students have been told they may use their personal cell phones if they need to reach their parents.
