Bucks Fall to Canton 38-0

bucks-footballFARWELL – There was not much for the Bucktail fans to cheer about as Canton rolled pass the Bucks 38-0. There was some shining moments for the Bucks as that did not happen until the second half of the game. Canton built a nice 26-0 lead by halftime halftime. For most of the game, the Bucktail offense was going backwards.

Positive yardage did not happen until the last two plays of the game as Richard Perry threw one and than ran one for some nice yardage. For the bright spots that the Bucks defense had was in the first half as Mike Casper intercepted a pass returning the ball to the Canton 44 yardline. In the second quarter Mitch Intallura recovered a fumble on Canton 29.

The Bucks just could not get their offense firing off the line. Canton’s big defensive line just caused lots of confusion for Bucktail blocking scheme. The Warrior defense was in the back field every play. They were just beating the Bucks off the ball.

Bucktail will play home again next Friday night when they host Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech at 7 p.m.
