Just in Time for Memorial Day

LOCK HAVEN – Two City of Lock Haven public works employees, Jaredd Smith and Kyle Sox, spent this morning putting a fresh coat of paint on the city-maintained flag pole in Veterans Park across from the Clinton County Courthouse. They had perfect painting weather and the forecast for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend looks summerlike and promising. The flagpole had fallen into disrepair and a new rope has been obtained through the county Department of Veterans Affairs. The new rope and flag are to be up well in time for Memorial Day.
